I've finally sent the ring for re-sizing again, and this time Shaohen and I met a really nice and helpful salesperson at Tiffany. She's really nice and helpful I tell you! I like her so much. If only I met her the last time I went for re-sizing, then it would have been perfect.
Oh well... now I'll have to wait till March before I can get my ring back.
It's 9 more months till wedding day! We're excited, but still have yet to really do any REAL planning.. hahaha.. the bug of procrastination. :P

Ringing Woes
The end of the year is approaching! One of my friends recently asked me, how does it feel like to be celebrating my last "single" birthday? Hahaha... I told him, I don't know! I'll let you know when I go through it. :)
Anyhow, I'm going to be re-sizing my ring again. :( Yeah, that means I won't be seeing it for two whole months again. I can see your eyes widening, jaw dropping and "WHY???" coming out. Well, last night I was happily surfing the net to learn more about the traditions of engagement and wedding rings. And I found out that, traditionally, an engagement is worn on the FOURTH FINGER of the LEFT HAND. Then when the wedding day is over, the wedding band is supposed to be worn together with the engagement on the same finger.
I had thought that engagement ring is to be worn on the THIRD FINGER of the RIGHT HAND. Therefore, the first re-size was wrong.
Maybe some of you are saying, "NO NEED TO FOLLOW TRADITION LAH! IT'S MODERN DAY NOW!"
Yeah, I know. But somehow, I still feel like following it la. It's sweet also mah! I want to wear both my engagement and wedding rings together too. So.... OH WELL! Two months of not seeing my ring it shall be!
Besides that, we haven't really gone about much for our wedding plans. We keep having the mindset that we still have a lot of time... which we have to change! Time is happily ticking by man. But really, there are so much nitty gritty stuff.
At least we have two weddings to attend these two months. :) It's a chance for us to observe and learn.. hehe.

Symbol of a Joint A/C
We've opened our joint savings account last week. :) I'm happy and excited about it, because it seems to symbolize our lives joining together. Woo hoo! It's great to be in love, and it's great to know that you're marrying the one you love. Hahaha... go get married!
Anyway, Shaohen revealed to me that he had actually prepared a really good proposal speech, but chickened out at the last minute because he himself couldn't stand the mushy-ness. So... I am bugging him day and night to tell me what it was.
He of course refused to, but after much of my puss-in-boots kinda expression and the i'm-a-girl-so-i-can type of manja, he agreed to tell it to me after our wedding.
Therefore, the reason I'm writing it down here is so that *ahem* Mr Yong you won't forget. HAHAHAHA.
What? I'm curious ma! Aren't you? But, I won't tell you anyway :P
Well life has been awesome and great lately for the both of us. We've gained so much experience and so much blessings in the recent Emerge KL 2007. Our careers are taking off, slowly but surely, in Jesus' Name! We're still being stretched, but somehow, I guess we both have matured in our relationship, having the certain substance and strength that I had always been searching for.
Perhaps, like what a leader said, knowing that we're really getting married really do make a difference.
This post is getting wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too long! Can you tell that I'm really excited about the future??? hahaha
And not just about the wedding and marriage, but also about other relationships, life course, career, new car, new house, new everything.. hehe. God is a God of new things! And God is an exciting God, that is why when we serve Him, we'll lead exciting lives!
OK, if I don't stop now and go to bed, tomorrow I'll be a very exciting zombie at work. Good night!

On Your Mark, Get Set...
As is the standard starting word for new blogs: WELCOME!
Shaohen and I actually already have an existing blog which talked a bit of our history together (http://anggugu.blogspot.com), but I just thought, since we're entering into a new level together, we could start a new blog that chronicles everything from the proposal.
Also of course to keep track of our wedding planning. hehe. I foresee a stressful time ahead, but it's going to be a great process in any case.
So, this is just the introductory/welcome post, and the rest will follow soon. :)
